My husband surprised me yesterday.

The man never was a Disney Enthusiast the way I was, but after our honeymoon to Disneyland, he was hooked. In total, we have been to Disneyland 6 times together and Disney World twice. Now we have two more trips planned within the next six months. That will make a total of 3 trips within a year. Possibly even more, as we will likely plan another trip before our annual passes expire in May.

That being said, he has always been against cruises. He hates the water. He watches videos on cruises gone wrong. He has no interest. Yet, today, out of no where, he decided to share some Disney gossip with me. He says, “I’ve heard the new Cay that Disney is using as an excursion isn’t very good. All the reviews are terrible.” Surprised, but chuckling, I asked him for details. Who had he heard about it from? Were they just there for the first excursion? Maybe it will get better after the crew gets the routine down….

Ultimately, we jointly decided Castaway Cay was the way to go when we book a cruise. How this man has gotten to a place that he would be willing to go to a cruise, I do not know. But I’ll take it!
