I’m thrilled—my squirrel and blue jay friends are back! I thought they might have moved on since I hadn’t seen them in a few days, but today they were all at “Blue Jay Corner” again! It turns out the jays have claimed the early morning hours to themselves, while my squirrel buddy shows up in the late morning and keeps popping back throughout the day. Watching their antics has been such a treat.

Besides hanging with my carbon copy, Dais, I managed to fit in a 30-minute treadmill walk. Unfortunately, I had a mishap—my shoe snagged the back cover of the treadmill and tore it right off. It’s still functional but definitely a reminder that maybe investing in a sturdier one next time might be worth it.

Today is my third shot, which always zaps my energy, so Halloween will be a bit challenging. But for Dais, I’ll power through anything. 🎃
