Another Tuesday Tally on a Wednesday

Another Tuesday Tally on a Wednesday

Last week was tough—my depression hit hard after some issues at home, and I had two of the lowest days I’ve felt in years. Yesterday, I finally started feeling like myself again. With just a short shift today, I’m hopeful that some rest will have me back to 100% by tomorrow. On a brighter note, Continue reading

    Small Tuesday Tally

    Small Tuesday Tally

This week marked the first time in my Zepbound journey that I didn’t hit my goal of losing 2 additional pounds. Honestly, I’m not surprised. Since moving my workout equipment to make room for the Christmas tree, I haven’t exercised once. That said, I still managed to lose 1.2 pounds, which I’m choosing to see Continue reading

    Georgetown Christmas Market

    Georgetown Christmas Market

Today was… a lot—but in the best way possible. The morning with us scrambling to get ready. It was our day to visit Georgetown, Colorado, for their annual Christmas Market! We rolled into town around 11:00 AM, greeted by festive vibes and a lack of parking spaces. Eventually, we snagged a spot, and off we Continue reading

    Sleepy Update

    Sleepy Update

I had big plans for an in-depth post tonight. But as the hours ticked by, exhaustion crept in, and here we are—a shorter post than I’d hoped for, written while I fight to keep my eyes open. My apologies, friends. Still, I want to share something exciting: today, I took a big step toward a Continue reading

    Rx Nature

    Rx Nature

Nature has always been my sanctuary. When I was younger, I made it a priority to immerse myself in it—whether hiking through trails or parking in a quiet spot to soak up the stillness. A few hours outside could lighten my heart and reset my mind. But things changed after I became a parent. Those Continue reading

    Another Tuesday Tally

    Another Tuesday Tally

Quick update! Two more pounds down! I’m super excited! My doctor decided to keep me on the same 5mg dosage, which I’m cool with. We’ve officially decked the halls—our Christmas decorations are up, and it feels so festive! Dais is absolutely smitten with the tree; every morning, she gets up and gives it the sweetest Continue reading

    A Tired Tuesday Tally

    A Tired Tuesday Tally

I’ve officially hit the 22-pound mark, keeping up with my goal of losing at least 2 pounds per week! Honestly, I wasn’t sure I’d make it this week. Tracking my food has been a struggle, and my protein intake has been lower than it should be—mainly because I’ve been avoiding the grocery store. I mean, Continue reading

    Busy Bee Weekend

    Busy Bee Weekend

This Weekend Was… A Lot. Thursday started with a follow-up Doctor’s appointment for my Zepbound prescription. My doctor seemed genuinely shocked when she found that I’m down 20 pounds in just seven weeks. She acted concerned while I was thrilled. It left me thinking, what’s “normal” here? Did I lose too much or is this Continue reading

    Quick Tuesday Tally

    Quick Tuesday Tally

I had high hopes of shedding 20 pounds this week, but a visit to my mom’s put a little detour in my plans. While I stayed active—lots of moving around, errands, and good old-fashioned family chaos—I didn’t get to squeeze in my usual exercise routine. Still, I managed to hit my weekly goal and dropped Continue reading

Farm Adventures and an Early Thanksgiving

Farm Adventures and an Early Thanksgiving

Yesterday and today, I couldn’t resist stocking up on more supplies to craft new earrings—it’s just too much fun! I was chatting with a friend about it. I decided in that conversation, I would start wearing earrings all the time. Now, I’m diving deeper into research on different techniques and exploring new ways to personalize Continue reading

About Me

I’m on a mission to live a healthier life– for myself and my daughter. In recent years I’ve struggled with my weight, anxiety and the tendency to avoid leaving the house when possible.

After years of attempting to solve my weight issue, I have been prescribed a weight-loss medication. Contrary to common misconceptions, this is not a simple solution. Lifestyle changes are a must and I am still working hard through home exercise and diet changes. I hope to show it’s possible to make these changes without a gym membership or any fad-gadgets.

I want to further my journey by facing my anxiety head-on and making an effort to enjoy the world again. I have found myself staying in at all costs. I rarely leave the house outside of going to work everyday. Things have got to change.

My hope is that my story inspires others to prioritize self-care and living life to the fullest.
