The first entry for the Something Important Project, the Ute Council Tree in Delta, Colorado

Okay. So two days later, I’m finally feeling fully rested after returning home from Massachusetts. The airports/plane really drains the energy out of you. It didn’t help that there was a damn mouse running around us at Logan. I was so afraid my kid would see it and start chasing it. Gross.

Anyways, I have two more days off after today. I doubt I will do anything interesting today since my husband will be home early. Just housework and childcare. But I can try to plan something for Monday. We will see what I can come up with.

I do plan on swinging by the craft store later today. I need to get some yarn. I’m going to crochet my kid a blanket. It will be my project at work while I read (one of the many reasons I prefer working graveyard shifts). I’ll update with the colors I choose. I am almost thinking I may go rainbow. I love rainbows. And it’s easiest when my kid hasn’t chosen a favorite color yet. All the colors!

Today’s photo is Elm Street Congregational Church in Southbridge, Massachusetts. Something I appreciated about Massachusetts was that most churches we passed made it clear from the outside that ALL were welcome. It was refreshing.
