I didn’t make it to the craft store for yarn, as originally planned. Instead I opted to work on something I already had. A cross stitch.

I have several started and several other kits/patterns ready to start. I decided on a small kit and started stitching. It felt good. I got a decent amount done as well.

The kit is from a Russian company I purchased several years ago. I got it with plans to hang it in my new born’s nursery. Now that newborn is a toddler. No longer in a nursery.

Oh well.

Anyways, it felt good to do something just for me. I’m thinking I may finish it before having to go back to work. If so, I will try to find something new to start at work when it chills out early in the morning.

Photo is the beginning of the pattern. I am now working on the Image. It’s a Russian fable. The pattern was designed by the company, Owl Forest.

In the meantime, I’m exhausted and my back hurts. Plus, the migraine. I need sleep.
